What are Shared Views?

Overview

A share is a window into someone else's calendar. You can't make changes to these events, but you can navigate within the share--switching from week view, to day view, for instance--and you can  filter the share, to focus on what's most important to you.

Shares are frequently used by builders to share a project schedule with customers, or by employers to share a work schedule with employees. And you'll see shares used to publish the schedule of events, like  this schedule for the Pause On Error conference.

This view was created and shared with you in a new calendar application named DayBack. It's cool.

Updates

Whenever the author of the share updates their calendar in DayBack, any events they've shared with you are also updated. So each time you arrive at your shared view, you're seeing the latest version of the author's schedule. If you've had the share open for a long time, click the "refresh" button below the date to bring in any changes that might have been synced to the share while you were looking at it.

Can I re-share this?

Yes. These share URLs are not password protected so anyone you send the link to will be able to see the schedule. You can post share URLs to social media, include them in emails, or embed the URLs in other web sites as  iframes.
